Where the rivers meet the sea

A local gathering for conversation, meaning, and community, part of the wider Estuary movement.

About

An estuary is where fresh water and salt water mix, a place of meeting and of new life. Olympia Estuary is a local group of people who come together for real conversation about meaning, faith, imagination, and an enchanted view of the world.

Olympia Estuary was founded by Nate Hile, who has led the group since 2021. We meet twice a month in the social hall of Christ Our Hope Anglican Church in downtown Olympia. We hosted an Estuary conference in Olympia in 2024 and will host another in Washington State in 2028, and we've helped support new Estuary groups across the Pacific Northwest.
